Home 9 Health Care 9 Celebrating Benefits for Children and Families: A Week on the Affordable Care Act

This week, groups across the country will be celebrating the two year anniversary of the signing of national health reform (the Affordable Care Act).  Monday through Friday will be themed throughout the country to highlight specific benefits and constituencies.  At WCCF we’ll be blogging every day, connecting the national themes to kids and families in Wisconsin.

We know that many of the health reform provisions are specifically intended to get more kids covered and ensure they have access to care – and Americans support these provisions. Help spread the word to increase support for health reform overall by visiting our blog (http://wiskids.blogspot.com/), following us on Twitter, and liking us on Facebook to learn more about how kids in Wisconsin are benefiting from health reform and what you can do to tell our leaders and your friends that health care works!

– Monday, March 19th: Seniors

– Tuesday, March 20th: Women

– Wednesday, March 21st: Increased Access to Preventive Care for Children

– Thursday, March 22nd: Insurance Reform Provisions

– Friday, March 23rd: Anniversary of Signing and Banning Preexisting Condition Exclusions

Join us to build a Wisconsin where
every child and family thrives.
