Be prepared to vote.

How will you prepare this week to vote?

  • Mark your calendars and make your plan. The election is this coming Tuesday, November 5 and polls are open from 7am-8pm. If you are scheduled to work, your employer is required by law to allow you time off to vote on election day. Talk to them this week to confirm and make your plan.
  • Arrange transportation.
  • You have the right to vote free from intimidation. You can vote in the privacy of the voting booth, and your ballot remains confidential. If you, your family, or friends have any questions about your right to vote or otherwise, contact the non-partisan election protection hotline:
    • English: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683)
