Fundraising & Operations Assistant

Temporary part-time position
 
The Position
The Operations and Fundraising Assistant is a temporary part-time (16-20 hours/week) hybrid remote position. This role collaborates with the Operations Director and Strategic Growth Director by supporting our development of antiracist operations and infrastructure. 
 
 
What you bring
  • Sincere passion for KF mission, vision, and values.
  • An interest in Kids Forward’s development as an antiracist policy center. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and resourcefulness.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and care.
It’s a bonus if you have:
  • Prior experience with donor communications and donor databases (CRM).
  • Knowledge and interest in cloud based platforms. 
Responsibilities:
 Fundraising
  • Research funding opportunities that align with KF mission and initiatives. 
  • Enhance internal team use of donor database.
  • Assist in preparing and editing proposal documents.
  • Support donor communications.
 Operations
  • Assist in streamlining internal documentation sharing
  • Expand internal vendor directory ensuring alignment with KF mission and initiatives. 
  • Provide general support. 
Compensation
Hourly pay between $23-27/hour based on experience. This temporary position is anticipated to last 9 to 12 months from start.
