To create a vibrant and economically competitive future for Wisconsin, every child, every family, and every community must be given the opportunity to thrive. In Wisconsin, there are significant racial and ethnic disparities when it comes to income and wealth. Wisconsin needs to make sure that every child has access to the opportunities they need to build a secure future, and the most effective way to do this is to support children and their families together. “Increasing Economic Security for Every Wisconsin Family” analyzes the ongoing challenges of child poverty in Wisconsin and offers proven recommendations for moving forward so that every child and family has the opportunity to succeed.

healthTIDE and Kids Forward hosted four Healthy Food Youth Conversations with 30 middle and high school Latino, Black, and Asian students from Milwaukee, Appleton, and Stevens Point, which took place between December 2023 and January 2024.
