Virtual Informational Session

July 24th 1-2pm

Wisconsin is home to over a half million of young people, and they’re putting down roots all over our state.

But, when young people—especially youth of color—don’t follow the traditional 4-year college to career pipeline, they often don’t have access to the same discussions and opportunities as their peers.

These young people—sometimes referred to as opportunity youth—deserve a seat at the table when decisions are being made about the issues that impact their lives.

Thankfully, Wisconsin is home to several talented, young people trying to do just this.

Launched by youth in the Fox Valley and now supported by Kids Forward, the Opportunity Youth Initiative is a new project that advocates for positive, equitable outcomes for young people throughout Wisconsin. With the project in its very early stages, we’d love to connect with partners and fellow community advocates to see how our work may align with yours.

Join us for a virtual listening session to learn more about Opportunity Youth Initiative. If you can’t make the session, we’d still love to connect!
