We’ve now analyzed six more months of data since our last YoungStar update, YoungStar in Wisconsin: Analysis of Data as of July 2013.  And it looks like mostly good news!

Our newest YoungStar Update, covering data through January 2014, shows that from July 2013 to January 2014 YoungStar has improved approx. 1.5 percentage points in number of WI Shares programs rated 3-5 stars (now at 43.5%) and approx. 1.5 percentage points in number of WI Shares children in programs rated 3-5 stars (now at 66.5%).

When broken down geographically, the trend shows continued improvement in almost all areas. The Milwaukee region especially demonstrates sustained gains in number of children in higher quality programs.
