WEBINAR DESCRIPTION: A virtual roundtable discussion with Wisconsin family child care providers, this event was based on our podcast conversations where most panelists were a guest. Professor Janean Dilworth-Bart from the School of Human Ecology at UW-Madison introduced the webinar as well as State Senator LaTonya Johnson from Milwaukee. We were excited to talk with Wisconsin family child care providers about their challenges, goals, and profession!
This webinar was conceived, planned, fundraised for, and facilitated by our 2020-2021 UW Public Humanities Fellow, Kate MacCrimmon. Kate offers a unique perspective as both a former Family Child Care provider and doctoral candidate researching the subject. Kids Forward is tremendously grateful for her work and is pleased to be able to share this recording here.
