WCCF has released a new report, YoungStar: What Does Recent Research Tell UsThe report looks through the lens of the key objectives for YoungStar when it was launched. The report reviews earlier research on Quality Rating and Improvement Systems (QRIS) by RAND, examines what we learned from the Wisconsin YoungStar validation study, and discusses the implications for YoungStar going forward. ys-report-child

The report includes an introduction by Dave Riley, Emeritus Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension. Dr. Riley has a unique perspective, having facilitated the initial task force that recommended a quality rating system. We believe that research can help us learn and improve as YoungStar moves forward.
